Milestone Homes is very pleased to have RD1 as a partner in the rural sector. Through our relationship with RD1, we've been able to gain a greater understanding of the needs of the farming community. We are able to provide farmers nationwide with all forms of accommodation options, from farm worker's accommodation to holiday homes.

RD1 customers who choose to build with Milestone Homes also receive the benefit of a rebate to their RD1 account equalling 0.6% of the build cost of their home. What a great way to kick start the landscaping, gardens or other household needs.

  • Milestone Homes is dedicated to energy efficiency and with the support of the Electricity Commission now specifies Energy Efficient Lighting as standard in all of our house designs.
  • The Commission's principal objective, as set out in the Electricity Act, is to ensure that electricity is produced and delivered to all of consumers in an efficient, fair, reliable and environmentally sustainable manner. The Commission is also required to promote and facilitate the efficient use of electricity.
  • Energy Efficient Lighting is one of the easiest ways to save energy in your home and save dollars in your back pocket.  By installing energy efficient lighting an average three bedroom home can achieve energy savings of up to $500 per year.
  • All Milestone Homes are designed and constructed using energy efficient lamps and fittings.
