How long will it take to build my home?

The time it takes to build a new home can vary based on many factors, such as location, the size and complexity of the home, customisation preferences, weather conditions, consent delays, and other factors. Generally, you can expect the process to take about 9 to 12 months, give or take, from the initial consultation to the final handover. During the initial consultation stages, you will be provided with a more accurate build timeframe that is specific to you and your home.

 

Can I customise my home plan?

Yes, Milestone Homes offers a range of customisation options. Many of our home plans have multiple styles to choose from, which vary in roof styles, cladding options, and colours. You can also select internal finishes, fixtures, colours, and other design elements to ensure your new home reflects your personal style and meets your specific needs. Basic changes to the layout of the home can sometimes be accommodated for, keeping in mind that this may effect the price.

What building products/fixtures do you use?

Do I need to secure permits and consents myself?

No, Milestone Homes will handle all necessary permits and approvals as part of the building process. Our team will ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, allowing you to focus on the more exciting aspects of your new home.
